TA Roofing was established in 2009. We have built the company up year on year and in 2011 TA Roofing was incorporated as a Limited company. Each year since has seen continued growth and re- investment into the company from the directors.

With our continued growth and investment along with our capabilities to expand our already large network of domestic, private and commercial clients, we are able to provide all aspects of roofing works required to the highest standards.

Having built a reputation of being one of the most highly regarded roofing contractors in the area, TA Roofing is lucky enough to be able to employ some of the best trades-persons in our industry. All our trades-persons are apprentice trained, have City & Guilds or NVQs in their relevant trade. All our trades-persons are also CRB/DBS checked and cleared prior to being awarded a contract with us, so you know you are in safe hands.

TA Roofing has all relevant and valid insurances as follows:

  • £10 million employers liability cover
  • £5 million public liability cover
  • £250,000.00 contractors all risks cover

Evidence of insurances can be provided by us when required. 

Sometimes planning permission and / or building regulations will need to obtained prior to any works commencing on either new, altered or replacement roofs etc.

Our team can help and guide you through this process or with your authorisation, we can relieve you of the stresses related to these procedures and act on your behalf to complete this for you. Either way you can rest assured that you are working with an extremely competent company who carry out all works to the full requirements of building regulations and any required planning laws etc. 

We do offer a free, no obligation quotation to all our potential customers. We only ask that you are the owner of the actual property. 

When you contact us, our friendly office team will arrange with you a convenient time to send one of our vastly experienced surveyors around to your property. Our surveyor will ask you a few simple questions in regards to your roof etc and then they will be able to advise as to what works will be required and we will then forward on your quote within an agreed amount of time. 

Depending on the scale of the works required the quotes can take anything from 24 hours up to 2 weeks to return back to you. We prefer to send our quotes by email to save unnecessary use of paper etc and to protect our trees. However we can mail you the quote as well by post if required.

If you are looking to potentially purchase a property and would like to arrange for a quote / survey on a property you dont yet own, we would happily provide you with a detailed quote of any works that may be required. There is a a standard fee for this service though of £160.00 + VAT.

All our quotes are valid for a period of 4  to 12 weeks and details of exact validity period will be included on your quote. After this period has expired due to the constant price fluctuations in materials etc, we may need to adjust your quote to suit. 

There are many tell tale signs of damaged roofs that may need to be replaced, it depends on wide variety of different factors for different types of roofs. 

Our experienced surveyor will be able to provide professional advice upon the agreed inspection. We are not pushy sales people and we would never expect you to make an on the spot decision in regards to what work you want to be carried out. If we think a repair is suitable instead of a whole replacement we will tell you so, but as mentioned we will go away to consider the works involved and prepare a quote for you to consider.

It is impossible to put an exact figure on a roof without inspecting it first There are many different factors to consider when providing a quote for a new roof, no two jobs are ever exactly the same. What we are able to do is provide you with a detailed quote for the full package of works, so whether we may need scaffolding for access or skips for waste removal you can be sure we can provide for it all.

We do our best to get you the best prices in the industry where possible and best value for money. We cant always guarantee we will be the cheapest quote, but what we do guarantee is our works are always of the highest standards.

A new roof will last many years, but again it varies on the type of new roof installed and the materials that are used. We will however provide you with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee as standard on all new tiled or slates roofs etc.

We can also provide other longer guarantees for up to 40 years for different types of roofing to include flat roofs, GRP Fibreglass roofs, Rubber EPDM roofs just to mention a few.

A new flat roof will be guaranteed by us for a period from 10 years up to 40 years. It really depends on which roof covering product you decide upon.

We have several teams of roofers, joiners, builders  etc, so we can generally be quite flexible in our approach in regards to time scales, lead times etc and depending on the current schedule can often commence works within a few weeks. However sometimes if materials are being ordered direct from the manufacturer they may be manufactured to order and hence the lead time will be longer.

Urgent repairs can sometimes be carried out within the same week but cannot be guaranteed without first speaking to a member of our team to check our schedule at the time. 

Terms of payments are to be agreed individually with our management before each contract commences. Our preferred method of receiving payment is by bank transfer directly into our bank account.

Guarantees will only be issued after payment has been received in full. Further information can be found in our terms and conditions provided with each quote and invoice.

Absolutely yes. All photos are of work we have completed over the years.

Changes in the works are sometimes inevitable due to the nature of roofing works. Often the conditions of existing roofs are not known until the roof coverings are removed and opened up for visual inspection. Where this happens we will never proceed without notifying the customer first and where possible to agree costs prior to commencing any additional works. Therefore we would never provide you with a bill of additional items you didn't know anything about as many other contractors do. 

Yes - in habitable areas your roof must comply with all current building regulations. As part of this we will have to assess your existing roof insulation and upgrade it as required so it legally complies with the regulations. In any-case it will benefit you in terms of your property being more thermally efficient and hence reducing your heating and energy costs etc.
